Stavros L. Tripis

Stavros L. Tripis for years sold fresh tuna in the United States, and dominated the Canadian fresh tuna market. This experience provided the insight which established his conviction that Superfrozen tuna was eventually going to play a significant role in the North American tuna market.

This insight led him to develop the first, and still only full superfrozen processing facility in North America, in 2002.

He had many obstacles to overcome, and eventually defined the superfrozen market as it is today. This market however is in its embryonic stage, and continues to change rapidly.

The North American market is very unique and demands new and innovative processing techniques, which he is responsible for developing.
