Vittorio Ramazza
Innovation Development Responsible at Coop-Italia Scarl

Vittorio Ramazza  works in the Quality Assurance department of Coop Italia.
Actually he is working as Innovation Development Responsible.
The job includes the participation to some Coop projects on subjects of large interest for Coop as: allergens, environmental aspects (“Coop for Kyoto”, LCAs on different products), responsible fishing (“Dolphin Safe” and “Friend of the Sea”), animal welfare, special food categories (baby foods, petfood, beer), raw materials from sustainable agriculture, etc…
More than this he has relationships with some national and international organizations. 

Previously he worked to the study and the realization of some Coop labelled products (pork meat processed products), the monitoring and the improvement of the already existing ones and the managing of the controls in the Coop High Quality and microfiltered milk productive chain.

Since 1989 to the end of the 2000 he worked in the same area but in a different field: the fresh meat and fish traded under the label “Prodotti con Amore-Coop” (actually Coop labelled).
In this position he contributed to the developing the Coop whole productive chain control system on growers, feed producers, slaughters and processing units with the following activities: definition of the Coop standards, writing the company specifications, coordinating internal and external workforce, auditing, maintaining and improving technical and scientific contacts (on the BSE subject too).
Prior to join Coop Italia he spent 3 years working in the agricultural and veterinary press sector and in a bovine fresh meat company.
Vittorio Ramazza holds a Degree in Sciences of the animal productions (University of Bologna, Agricultural Faculty, 1987). Lead auditor training course (1999) and publication of 10 papers.
