Antonio Orsini’s career in the seafood industry has spanned 11 years working in supply chains around the world. He has a wealth of knowledge gained from his experience in tuna farming in Turkey and Tunisia, Tuna Fishing projects in Libya and closer to home, seafood wholesaling in Europe. Antonio joined New England Seafood from Juan Roqueta, a major Spanish Tuna Importer where his role as Marketing and Export Manager meant he was responsible for all aspects of The Tuna Supply Chain with special focus on Superfrozen tuna. New England Seafood based near London is one of the major importers of fresh and frozen sustainable seafood for the UK market. As Category Buyer for Tuna, Antonio is responsible for the largest and most complex supply chain in the New England portfolio , working closely with suppliers both large and small to fulfil pre-packed and fish counter products for leading retailers including Marks and Spencer, Waitrose, Sainsburys, and Asda.
