Commère has over 30 years experience in tuna processing and trade as general delegate for the French canned fish sector FIAC, strongly involved in the post Cotonou tuna trade development between EU and African countries in West Africa and the Indian Ocean.

 

Commère is a key figure in the French seafood industry, serving as General Delegate for the seafood sector at Pact’Elim. He is also Vice President of AIPCE, the European Association of Fish Processors. In 2023, he was reappointed as Chair of the EU Markets Working Group at the Market Advisory Council, reinforcing his influence on European seafood policies.
