Paolo Bray, economist, with over 20 years international experience in the field of seafood certification. European director of the Earth Island Institute Dolphin-Safe project, which managed to lower dolphin mortality by 95% caused by the tuna fishing industry in the Eastern Tropical Pacific. Founder and director of the successful Friend of the Sea certification scheme for products from sustainable fisheries and aquaculture. The project has experienced a strong growth and over 145 companies from 41 countries participate to the initiative. Friend of the Sea is also the only sustainability certification scheme for fishmeal, fish oil, fish feed and Omega-3 supplements.
